Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa - an extinct volcano at 65km south east of Bagan in the plain region of middle Myanmar and as the one of National parks in Myanmar with preserved forest. It serves as a small oasis in the hot, dry plain of Myanmar. The popularity of Mt. Popa today lies in the interest of religious and mystical beliefs as an abode of “Nat” spirits. Climb the Taungkalat, the volcanic lava pumped out but freezed before eruption. On the way back to Bagan, visit the food-stuff industry of which is produced from toddy palm tree. Back to Bagan. Leisure or your optional activities such as E-bike cycling, horse-cart riding. Overnight in Bagan.
Arrive Heho airport by morning flight and proceed to Pindaya (1295 m above sea) by car for an hour by Heho- Bawsai road. Pindaya’ s attractions include – Pindaya Cave with over 8000 Buddha Statues, local umbrella making cottages and Boat-ta-loke lake. Lunch at Pindaya and continue to Kalaw. Kalaw is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains. Kalaw lies 1315 meters above sea level. Palaung tribes with colourful costumes can be seen at Kalaw market. Visit Shweumin natural cave, taking along the up-down meandering roads of Kalaw. Enjoy the town’s view and villas set amidst in pine woods. Overnight in Kalaw.
Peinnebin village located at north of Kalaw. Transfer from your hotel to Myinka village from where your trek starts. The approach to Peinnebin must follow slightly up trace until to village. Vast scenery of vegetation come to your sight looks like artistic painting. Silver Palaung tribe make home at Peinnebin village. Trek down by the other side.
Taryaw village located at south-west of Kalaw. The trek follows slightly ups and downs of mountain range. Terrace plantations, pine forest, natural wooded areas must be crossed until you reach to Taryaw village where Palaung tribe make home.
From your hotel at Kalaw, you will be transferred by a car to the village where your trek starts. Myinmahti cave is worth seeing for its natural formation of stalactite and stalagmite. Continue your trek until you reach the home-stay village. You will be put up at a monastery or at a local village house for the night. The next morning, proceed trek to Indein village & you will be taken by boat to Inle Lake or Nyaung Shwe.
