Upon arrival to Nyaung U Airport, you are welcomed by our local Station Tour Guide and he will take you to the introductory Bagan tour, which will include the following highlights:

Kyansitta Umin, a tunnel with an interesting feature of mural paintings
Hti-lo-min-lo, one of the largest temples, noted for its fine plaster carvings on the arch pediments, frieze and pilaster
Ananda Temple, 1090 AD, master piece of early style of temple-architecture with four huge Buddha Images in standing position
Lunch at local restaurant. Check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, tour proceeds to: Lacquer ware workshop, to observe the process of making a lacquer ware and its showroom; proceed to That ByinNyu Temple, which represent a transition from the Mon period to a new architectural style; Continue to Tharabar Gate, the eastern gate of the old wall and the main gateway to the ancient Bagan city. Enjoy the fantastic sunset view at the great spot of Bagan “Shwesandaw Pagoda” – a graceful white pyramid-style pagoda with good 360-degree views. Enjoy Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel in Bagan.

Today, it’s time to change the place and the environment. Just leave Bagan temples behind for a while and continue to Salay (another 30 minutes) to visit Salay Youk Sone Monastery, a 19th century wooden monastery with exquisite wooden carvings and Man pagoda with a Buddha Image made of lacquer before visiting the old Colonial Buildings.
Later on, drive towards east for about 1 hour to visit the famous Mt. Popa where 37 Nat have been worshiped since ancient times. Having lunch at local restaurant.
Lunch will be served at Popa Mountain Resort . The resort is being known as a hidden pleasure& a true escape from the outside world.
After lunch, climb up 777 steps to reach the top of the volcanic plug and learn about the Nat Shrines from your tour guide while walking along with the monkeys in the mountain. Upon arrival to the top, enjoy the glorious views over Myinkyan plain.
Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel after that. Overnight at hotel in Mt.Popa.

After having breakfast at Hotel, return to Bagan and you will visit to Dhamayangyi, the most massive temple among other temples in Bagan; Sulamani Temple with some of Bagan's finest ornamental work which are carved stucco on moldings, pediments and pilasters. Next, Visit to Myasaydi Pagoda, and Gupyaukkyi Temple in Myinkabar. Visit to Manuha Temple built in Mon style from 1059, and Nanpaya Temple, said to have been the residence of King Manuha. Having Lunch at local restaurant. After exploring Bagan, you will be transferred to Bagan Airport for your departure.
