Upon arrival to Mandalay TadaOo Airport, drive to Sagaing Hill, the Vatican City of the East where numerous monasteries can be seen everywhere, is an important religious & monastic center of Myanmar. You can listen to the monks’ daily educational rhymesin this former Royal Capital between 1760-1763. During your trip to Sagaing, visit Sitagu International Buddhist Academy, UminThonze pagoda and Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin pagoda. The panoramic view of Sagaing from these templeswill simply fascinate you and it is very worthwhile. Later on you can visit Ti-Lawka-Guru where mural paintings can be seen in this cave temple & Ywa-Htaung village to observe Silver-Smith workshops. Thereafter, take30 minutes drive to Amarapura, being famous for Maha Gandaryone Monastery& U Pein teak bridge. Then, proceed to Maha Muni Image - a bronze Buddha image casted during the lifetime of Buddha himself. Hotel check- in & overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

This morning, after breakfast at your hotel, visit to Mingun, about 11 km upstream from Mandalay on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River, is noted for its huge unfinished Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, ruins of two big lions and 90-ton Mingun Bell, supposed to be the Largest ringing bell in the world, Mya-Thein-Dan Pagoda, the best representation of the Universe in Buddhism. A 45 minute boat trip to Mingun is very pleasant with plenty of life on the river to observe. Return to Mandalay and have lunch at a local restaurant with your own account. In the afternoon, visit Mandalay Palace, ShweNandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world biggest book and finish the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the sun-set and the panoramic view of the city. In the late evening, enjoy dinner at local restaurant. Transfer back to your hotel & overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out from Hotel, drive 30-45 minutes to Amarapura is known for “City of Immortality” - being famous for Maha Gandaryone Monastery – home to more than 3,000 monks in different ages and one of the largest teaching monasteries in Myanmar. Then, we will proceed to U Pein teak bridge which is the world’s longest bridge. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, transfer to Mandalay International airport for departure OR transfer to Mandalay Domestic Airport.
